Achromatic Objectives for fs-Pulses
The achromatic doublet lenses with air gap (Fraunhofer achromats) are designed for a constant back focal length in the spectral range around 790 nm. This yields a constant propagation time for fs pulses over the entire aperture at this wavelength. The lenses are broadband antireflection coated.

Chromatic Focal Shift
The graph shows the typical relative spectral shift of the focal length referenced to the nominal focal length f for objectives of this series. To calculate the shift in length units for a certain objective the values must be multiplied by the respective nominal focal length.
