The prisms are made of crown glass BK 7 or fused silica Suprasil.
Quality A
90° angular error up to 3". 45° angular error up to 30". Pyramid error up to 30". Flatness of surfaces up to λ/10, sharp roof edge (90°); all other edges beveled.
Quality B
Angular error up to approx. 2'. Flatness of surfaces up to λ/5. All edges beveled.
Quality AB
90° angular error up to 5". 45° angular error up to 30". Pyramid error up to 30". Flatness of surfaces up to λ/10, all edges beveled.
