Plane Parallel Plates

The plates are produced from crown glass BK 7 or fused silica. They are used as windows, Brewster windows or as substrates for beamsplitter coatings in interferometers or other devices. The flatness of the substrate is λ/10 (λ = 550 nm) on both sides and the parallelism is λ/10.
